I was in SW Florida recently and it seemed there was mold everywhere I looked.  From broom closets at high end clubhouses to the sides of buildings to the walls in the corners of very nice stores.  Could it be that with the downturn in the economy companies are hiring less staff and that mold just isn’t an important enough problem to resolve as soon as it is noticed.

Wondering if this could be true, I opened the a/c air filter in the condo we were staying at.  Which by the way is one of the best neighborhoods in the Ft Myers, Florida area.  To my dismay, I found a filter covered with colonies of mold.

Have you noticed less cleaning going on with the changing economy?  Will this lead to more mold related sickness?  Whew… I’m getting a headache just thinking about it.  Let us know your thoughts.
